PETRINA NELLER

QAS Ambulance Technician

Please support QAS Officer Petrina Neller, Indigenous Paramedic Program (IPP), Ambulance Technician (AT) stationed at Mossman Station, Cairns and Hinterland LASN. Petrina entered the QAS IPP Cadet Program initially at QAS Cooktown, Torres & Cape LASN in 2015, and transferred to Mossman in 2017.

Petrina is currently working on the road at QAS Mossman station as an Ambulance Technician where she successfully completed both Certificate IV in Health (Ambulance) and Diploma of Paramedic Science making her eligible for direct entry to the Bachelor of Paramedic Science Degree at CQU.

Sadly Petrina recently lost her beloved husband of 16 years, David, after a short battle with cancer. This devastating loss has impacted Petrina and her family especially so close to Christmas and New Year. David and Petrina together have a 15-year-old son which required Petrina to have extended time from work to travel exhaustively to and from Cairns Base Hospital in support of David through his illness and to care for their young son. Petrina’s QAS family is raising funds to assist to support her and her family at this difficult time. Any donations or support are greatly appreciated.
